December challenge at SnP - Photo inspiration

   Goodmorning everyone !! Hope you are all doing great and ready for Christmas !!!

    Let your creativity flow and make a Christmas project for our December challenge at Scraps n Pieces !! We have a photo inspiration this month so get your papers and colors and play with us !!
    I have to admit that I am a christmas sucker, I love the season and all the decorations, so I made a canvas to put on my doorstep as an addition to aaall those other decorations I have LOL !!

 


     This is a 30x30 cm canvas with some scrap papers for background adhered with Decoart matte medium , some decoupage for the figures with Americana decoupage matte  , a lot of modeling paste by decoart with 7 dots Soulmates mask , my favorite Dawler Rowney aquafine watercolors and many tiny details with my white Uniball signo pen and black Uniball signo pen.

November challenge at SnP - by Valia Katzaki !!

  Hi everyone!! November is here and it finally starts to feel like autumn in Greece too!! So we have a great autumn moodboard for you by our sweet Valia Katzaki for this month's challenge at Scraps n Pieces!!

  I absolutely loved the colours and the leaves, and mostly got inspired by them to make my project. I used my favorite decoart modeling paste  and the amazing aquafine watercolours  for my background, some 7dots tags and stickers and other embelishment that seemed to fit my page ! You can find all your favorite supplies at Scraps n Pieces emporium.

This little girl on the photo is a family friend who gave me her photograph to make her a scrapbook page. Hope you like it mrs Gianna and thank you very very much !!

   

This is the original photo. I always reprint them in a larger scale and have my photographer "repair" them at the lab.

Crafty life challenges Guest Designer!!

   Hello everyone!! This month I am guest designing for Crafty life challenges, a Greek challenge blog with an amazing DT and great challenges ! I want to thank all the girls for voting my August project and having me at their blog this month!!
   For October anything goes and everyone is welcome to play. I made a simple layout with an old photo of my mother and her cousin posing beside a VW beetle at 1968.

 

 

I added some wire and some handmade flowers.

  Hope you like my page, I had a lot of fun making it ! I am adding  the original photo as some members of my family follow my blog and I think they would like to see it !!

Summer - for Crafty Life Challenges

   Κορίτσια του Crafty Life Challenges καλησπέρα !! Φέτος οι διακοπές μας ήταν "κάπως", όπως φαντάζομαι και για τους περισσότερους έλληνες !! Αν και κάναμε τα μπάνια μας και ξεκουραστήκαμε αρκετά, το καλύτερο και διασκεδαστικότερο κομμάτι των διακοπών ήταν ενα μίνι ταξιδάκι με τη μηχανή στην Στερεά Ελλάδα, οπου μπορεί μεν να βράσαμε και να πιάστηκε ο πισινός μας πανω στη σέλα, ΑΛΛΑ ξεφύγαμε πραγματικά και αλλάξαμε παραστάσεις. Οπότε η σύνθεση μου δεν θα έχει κοχυλάκια, αλλά μια στιγμή της εκδρομής μας και θα βασιστεί στο "καλοκαίρι" της πρόκλησής σας !

   Εύχομαι σε όλες καλό φθινόπωρο και καλές δημιουργίες !!

Scraps n Pieces September challenge - Go CaS by Aliki Cavras !!

 Hello dear friends !! This month's challenge at Scraps n Pieces challenge blog is " Go CaS "  !! Use a white background and try to keep your creation simple by using only 5 different materials ( the marker for your journaling or the ink for your stamp will not be counted ). Our friend and DT member Aliki Cavras challenged us all with this one, and although at first it seemed impossible I can assure you that the prosess was amazingly fun for all of us !!

  I used the following five materials, a chipboard, some modeling paste, a stamp and 2 different watercolours.

Scraps n Pieces August challenge- Anything goes

  Hello everyone ! For this month at Scraps n Pieces we have an easy challenge!! You are free to create any project you want, no limits !!
   I chose to play with my watercolours and my modeling paste to make the background for an old family photo. In this one my mother Dorothea and her cousin ( and my godfather) Idomeneas are playing a board game back in 1964.

 I made the tree inspired by Myrto's video, with lots and lots of splashes of pink, magenta and white watercolour , sprayed with water. The grass is made with random layers of modeling paste and two shades of green watercolour. A couple of stamping and that's it !! I used dawler-rowney aquarelle colour from Scraps n Pieces emporium....I just loooove them !!

   Κορίτσια μου καλημέρα σε όλη την παρέα και καλή αρχή στο ολοκαίνουριο σας  Crafty Life challenges!! Ηθελα να πω και απο δώ οτι χαίρομαι πολύ για την ομάδα σας και οτι είστε όλες υπέροχες και ταλαντούχες, και εύχομαι να συναντήσω απο κοντά και όσες απο σας δεν έχει τύχει ως τώρα!
  Το θέμα μου άρεσε πολύ και είχα να επιλέξω ανάμεσα σε διάφορα πράγματα και πρόσωπα που αγαπώ...αλλά τελικά τη μάχη την κέρδισε ο γιός μου !! Το καδράκι που έφτιαξα είναι απλό σε υλικά και εκτέλεση...μπόλικο modeling paste, ενα στένσιλ, χρώματα ακουαρέλας, κανα 2 αυτοκολλητάκια και σφραγίδες και μερικά μεταλικά τζατζαλάκια απο την εργαλειοθήκη του πατέρα μου. Το τελευταίο διάστημα πιάνω τον εαυτό μου να χρησιμοποιεί όλο και λιγότερα υλικά ... αντε να δούμε που θα φτάσω, ντουγρου για το cas μου φαίνεται πηγαίνω χαχαχαχα (... Αλίκη ακούς?? )

  Και μερικά λίγο πιο κοντινά.
